Patchbay is a macOS app that runs entirely on your own computer. This policy explains what it does with your data, including data from your Google account.
When you connect a Google account, Patchbay requests access only to the products you select: Gmail (read mail, change labels, create drafts), Google Calendar (read events), Google Drive (read files, create new files), Google Photos (add photos and videos) and YouTube (view and manage your channel's videos, playlists and comments, and upload videos).
Patchbay uses this access for one purpose: to carry out the requests made by the AI tools on your Mac that you have explicitly allowed to use that account. Data read from Google is passed to that tool in answer to its request. Which tool you allow, and what that tool and its provider do with the data, is your choice and is governed by that tool's own terms.
Sign-in tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac. Patchbay does not keep copies of your mail, files, photos, videos or comments. It keeps a local activity log for 30 days that records which tool called which operation, when, and whether it succeeded; the log does not contain the content of requests or responses. Files you ask to download are saved in the folder you choose on your Mac.
Nothing is sent to the developer of Patchbay or to any server operated by the developer; there is none. Patchbay does not sell data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train AI models. No person other than you can read your data through Patchbay.
Patchbay's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Remove the account in Patchbay to delete its tokens from the Keychain. You can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app's folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Patchbay removes the activity log.
